Rod Smith (sportscaster)
Rod Smith is a Canadian sports anchor. He has been with TSN since 1987, joining as an editorial assistant for SportsCentre (then SportsDesk). He became a reporter in 1992 and moved to anchoring in 1995 where he serves to this day. He reported from the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. A former offensive guard for the Queen's Golden Gaels, he also served as play-by-play announcer for CFL on TSN. Smith graduated from Queen's in 1979.
